Pro-Am Champions of Tomorrow 2018

This was the first competition of the season, and it was non other than the ever growing Champions of Tomorrow held at the majestic Winter Gardens in Blackpool on the 5-7th January 2018.

The Friday was the Pro-Am sections whereby the assistant teachers of Caterham Dance School danced with their pupils performing against other students for other schools. CDS having only participated in this once before , as it is relatively new for our students thus far, and did an outstanding job - we are so very proud of each of you who worked so hard on learning all the routines in such a short time.

Special thanks to their partnering teachers, Alfie and Miles, who did a terrific job on this new challenge for the school.

Congratulations to our lovely ladies who made semi finals and finals, and came away with some outstanding results for their first time outing. One thing I will mention, is the wonderful support from CDS students who were not competing until the next day but came up a day early to support their fellow dance colleagues. The team spirit was as high as it ever has been, and we really do have some of the best pupils a school could ask for. Thanks guys!

It was a meticulously organised event, and every bit of credit must go the organisers who made this very special for everyone, with great music, honourable judges, and I'm sure the many things that go on behind the scenes that know one could possibly need to know about to have made it into such a smooth running event.
